The Bedrock

Bedrock is the solid layer underneath everything else. Under the soil, under all the loose material, the thing you finally hit once you've dug through the rest. Nobody ever sees it. Everything standing above it is only standing because it's there. We made this one deliberately plain, no inlay and nothing added, and the name followed on its own.
